Hyperpigmentation Treatment at RejuvaMedispa, Langley
Posted on by AdminHyperpigmentation is a skin condition that produces areas or patches of discoloration. It is generally harmless, although it is often enhanced through unsafe activities, such as being in the sun with no protection. While hyperpigmentation can occur all over the body, it is generally when it is on the face that it causes the biggest issue for sufferers, which is why they look to hyperpigmentation treatment.
RejuvaMedispa is a leader of hyperpigmentation treatment in the Metro Vancouver region. We are located in central Langley and offer a variety of methods that will help fade the discoloration on your skin and leave it looking even-toned, brighter, and younger. We use medical grade lasers that penetrate the surface of the skin in order to encourage new cells to form, which will be free of hyperpigmentation.
Our aestheticians are highly trained professionals that will use the lasers with precision and a gentle manner, to ensure your treatment will be effectively painless and won’t take up your entire day. We use three different types of lasers for hyperpigmentation treatment and encourage you to pop in for a consultation so that we can assess your skin and see which type is best for you. We may recommend a mix of treatments which combines them all, or just a couple of appointments for targeted work.
Frac 3
This laser is named thanks to its ability to fractionate, or be delivered to different areas of the skin once it is in contact with it, as opposed to the original direct precision lasers which took longer to cover the area in treatment. It targets things like age spots and acne scars, as well as vascular components, and will leave skin feeling tighter and smoother as an added benefit to hyperpigmentation treatment.
Deep Fractioned Laser
This Er:YAG laser, a type of deep fractioned laser, is ideal for older skin types, as it works to replace old and worn out cells and tissues with newer, tighter replacements. It will fade more stubborn types of hyperpigmentation, thanks to precise micro-ablated channels that will help resurface the skin.
Micro Laser Peel
A mirco laser peel is commonly the last stage in a hyperpigmentation treatment plan. There are different types of peels available from micro lasers, depending on your skin’s needs, but in general it involves ‘polishing’ the skin, so that the new cells can shine through! You can also get touch ups following your treatment plan, to ensure that your skin stays fresh and tight and looks continuously rejuvenated.
